Miss Ireland stripped of title

The new Miss Ireland Maire Hughes has been stripped of her title after only a few days after it was found out she’d be too old to compete in the Miss World competition which is going to be on in China later in the year.

Maire who was Miss Mayo said she was 21 in her application and turns out she’ll be 26 at her next birthday. The cut off age is 24. Poor girl, but that’s the cost of lyin in application forms!
