Me in South Park again

This was designed to celebrate Glitz’s birthday in 2006 in which they made South Park figures of some of the acts that had performed there! The look is from our Baywatch routine what we performed the night the Honeyz were also on which was lovely.

Derek Keegan was the designer if I remember correctly!

A song for Liechtenstein

Back in 2010 I decided to pull a little hoax and so went about creatin’ the song Really Small And Its Nice as Liechtenstein’s Eurovision entry! The Eurovision Wikipedia page was changed and suddenly, I had people ringin’ and email to congratulate me as meself and the lads laughed on! Things took an interestin’ turn though when we sent the song to FLTV and they replied sayin’ that Liechtenstein doesn’t have a Eurovision entry as yet but they look forward to hearin’ from me when their licence gets accepted in the near future! I live in hope!

Turns out the Na Fianna lads are all good craic and I still talk to them the odd time!

Me in The Sun

I absolutely hated the way this was written and got the producers in the All Ireland Talent Show to complain seein as this Aoife Bannon one who wrote it actually didn’t know the difference between a cross dresser and an actor playin a comedy character. Plus one of me front teeth looks like it’s missin!

Now for some reason, I don’t think I was there or if Cher went but maybe she did? Again this is me and me hazy memory! Saddly Riddlers is now closed but I have many fond memories!

I took part in Celebrity X-Tractor and ended up finishin 2nd last, only 1 place above Blaithnaid Ni Chofigh who ended up bein a judge on the All Ireland Talent Show when I was on that! Strange that. I’ve never been able to find video of me on the show but here’s the script!

I’ve been dyin to go to Hong Kong Disneyland for a while now and with Grizzly Gulch openin it now gives me more reason to want to go. The newest rollercoaster, Runaway Mine Cars, has just opened and looks like great fun from what I can see from this video below! Really wanna go check it out!

Thelma’s Gypsy Girls

Those of yiz who read the blog regularly will know how much of a fan of Thelma Madine I am. In case ya don’t know who I’m talkin’ about, she’s the dressmaker from Big Fat Gypsy Weddings. Her latest show on Channel 4 see’s her take on 10 traveller girls to train as dressmakers. Sounds like it’s gonna be fun. This is the blurb from Channel4.com

Kelis unveils new song Distance

Kelis had a bit of a comeback in the last few years with Acapella and now her new single Distance has been revealed. Saw her live in the Olympia a few years ago and was easily one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to! Big fan of her work and love this new song.

Batman, Turkey

Talkin about Batman, did ya know that there’s a town in Turkey called Batman? It’s the main area for oil and gas in the country and is home to a large military base! In 2008 the mayor of the city said he was goin to sue Christopher Nolan for the effects that Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were havin by usin the name of the city as a superhero! LOL!

You can read all about it on it’s Wikipedia page here.

Is Katie Holmes being followed by scientologists?

I don’t think I’ll ever forgive Katie Holmes for not doin The Dark Knight but this story is a bit mad. Seein as she’s now divorcin Tom Cruise, the latest rumour is that his scientology “brothers and sisters” are now followin her around New York as she might become a liability. If you’re not familiar with the church, read about it here. Most countries class it as a cult. Poor Katie. I do hope Batman saves her! I saw a programme on TV3 about Scientologists and it scared me.

Little Mix new single Wings

X-Factor winners Little Mix have unveiled their new single Wings. It’s their first single since their winners song Cannonball and has a great beat in it! Think it’s gonna be a big hit. Really like it!

London Grand Prix

For those of yiz into Formula One, ya might be happy to see this comin’ reality! It’s Santander’s simulation of what a grand prix around the streets of London would look like. F1’s owner Bernie Ecclestone is said to be keen on the idea. What do yiz think? Would ya like to see Lewis Hamilton and Jensen Button race around the streets of London??
